Nice updates to the latest version of these Upper Doors!

I am happy to report that as of October, 2024, there have been some nice updates that the Dirt Warrior team has done to this General kit.

Most notably, the rear window on the G4 kit now has lift off hinges! This is a huge win, as now they are 100x easier to install the first time, and can be lifted off whenever the uppers are stored for a warmer ride. Amazing upgrade to an already great product.

I'm not sure if the team updated the weather stripping. But I was advised to purchase thicker weather stripping to replace the included. I was happy to report that my install was near perfect and I returned the weather stripping without any need for using it.

A couple things that could be improved. Some sort of arrow decal on the the small triangle piece up front should be included to show the direction of install. No matter how many times I flipped it, rotated it, and swapped sides, there was no way in the world a person can line up the factory holes. After an hour of fiddling with it I just drilled a new hole and called it good. It does require a person to push out on the upper door to close the lower, but it's a non-issue.

I would recommend that a person order the factory passenger side handle to be installed on the drivers side door. You will notice that Polaris does not include a handle on that door. DW does include a handle on the upper, but I was not sure if it should be used to close the door or remove the upper.

I will be moving on to adding Kilmat in the rear firewall and roof, as well as a headliner to help deaden the sound. We do notice a bit more engine noise, but it may be more attributed to lack of wind, which was the goal.

Great work everyone, these are a keeper. Now I need to come up with a storage solution or welders blanket for the back of my truck for when we pop them off last minute for a ride. Quick tip, if you are going to ask what color DW logo we want installed, put on on both sides! I get folks asking who makes them all the time. (send me another gold one, I will install it)

Dirt Warrior Uppers for General

I like my dirt warrior uppers. My wife and I installed these on my 2024 General XP 4 and it was fairly easy for us to put these on. I don't like the corner pieces that go with the front doors. The bracket wasn't bent to the correct angle for a good fit but I wasn't looking for a complete seal on the vehicle so I can live with it. It was also a very tight fit to get the hardware in there. I will say the ride is a lot louder with these installed. I'm looking for a storage bag for the front windows so I can safely store them when we don't have them in use. I also cut my hand on the bold that sticks out of the latch handles. I believe Dirt Warrior should put rubber caps on these like they do on the handle stop bolts. I don't believe I'll need to put a heater in my rig with these uppers. The wind is bad where we ride and cut that down with these uppers is enough for us. I'm looking for a good communication system for it now because of how loud it is. I also ordered the drivers side door handle that Jalen said was designed by Dirt Warriors, hope it comes in soon. Overall, I'm happy with these uppers.

General 4 seater

They work well. There are some gaps really nothing you can do about it. The small fill in pieces on the front aren’t good. They need to be adjusted. They don’t fit right. The door tucks in behind them when you close the door. The pins that slide into the door piece I had to adjust and they still
Slide in hard. Personally they are overpriced. There is t much material there and building them ain’t much. My opinion but do like them

Quality Product

giving 5 stars for this enclosure as it is what I expected and is solid.
critiques/suggestions on the next version of this would be
- tight up some of the air gaps
- add an 3/4 inch to the rotating latch strip
- opening front window would be amazing.
